Best British Exports (Jerusalem)
This was some drawing we did at the local market. The drawings had to by done fast and rough. You have to take in all the information you need and transfer it to paper instantly. I found it easier to draw the complete surroundings.
The next picture I drew was of a more rural England. This obviously being the positive view of the project. Unlike the first picture I made this one with healthy trees, white clouds and more space in between images. Sport, agriculture and renewable energy are all elements in the image as well as a condensed look at some of London's most iconic and attractive buildings. I like to think of this image as a nostalgic view of how we would want England to be.
Project Title
We recently started a project for first year illustration called "Jerusalem" that focuses on England's green and pleasant land. It was our task to portray England in both positive and negative lights. I started by making doddle's and deciding the elements of what would be incorporated in the picture.
